When was VR Cleaning services set up?

VR Cleaning Services was set up in 2007 with a team of 6 cleaners. With training and experience gained through the years, we have expanded with our dedicated staff to a team of over 80 workers.

Who cleans my home?

Our male/female maids are from the Philippines, Nepal, Bangladesh and countries in Africa. Our staff speak and understand English and are all above the age of 21.

Is there a contract or an agreement to sign?

While we do offer contract based services, signing a contract depends entirely on you. It is not compulsory to sign a contract to hire our staff.
However please note that if you do not sign a contract with us you have to pay after each visit. If you do sign a contract with us, we will send you an invoice at the end of the month.

Will the same maid clean my home everytime?

Yes we can assign the same dedicated maid for your home by signing a contract with us.
As far as possible, we try to assign the same maid for your home each time. However if this is not possible, there will be a replacement regulated by us.

Do I have to be at home while cleaning takes place?

This depends entirely on you. Most clients prefer that the cleaning be done when they are not at home, however this can differ. We advise that you stay at home during the first visit to guide the cleaning lady/boy through your house with specific instructions if any, on how you would like him/her to clean your home.

Do I leave a set of keys with the maids from VR cleaning services? Where and how are the keys kept?

VR Cleaning Services is happy to accept keys to make it easy to clean your house while you are away. The cleaning lady/boy will handover the keys to their supervisor after duty which are then secured under lock at our offices.

What are your timings?

We work 6 days a week. Our timings are as follows:
Morning Slots: 8am—12pm and 9am—1pm
Afternoon Slots: 1pm—5pm and 2pm—6pm

Our cleaning services for other timings can be arranged for on request.

Do I have to provide transport for the cleaners?

No, we provide our staff with transport to their designated work spaces.

What happens when a maid breaks something?

Home insurance is the responsibility of our clients. We accept liability up to the value of the premium or a maximum of AED 500.

What is the cancellation policy?

In order to maintain efficiency and in consideration of our employees’ schedules, we require at least a 24 hour notice for all cancellations. If you need to cancel or reschedule a cleaning for any reason, simply call or email us.

How do you train your staff?

Our staff is highly trained and coached in our own test facilities and at the Ritz Carlton hotel in Dubai.

How much do you charge per hour?

Our hourly rates range from AED 30 – AED 65 depending on the location, the no. of hours and the equipment and chemicals required.

How do you monitor and maintain your cleaning standards?

Apart from an extensive staff training at the start of the job, we maintain regular checks every 6 months to monitor and maintain cleaning standards.

How often will you send me a bill and what are the payment terms?

If you decide to sign an agreement with us, we will bill you at the end of the month. You can make a payment by cash, cheque or through internet banking. Alternatively you can also choose to pay for our services through the cleaning lady/boy at the end of the cleaning session.

What happens if I am not satisfied with my cleaner?

On the rare occasion that you aren’t happy with your assigned cleaner, you can of course always request to have your cleaner changed. Your satisfaction is our goal.

Do you have any special offers?

Yes, we do have promotions. You may give us a call to check if we have any special offers for you.

Can you replenish my empty cleaning materials?

Yes, we can. You can opt for this additional service for a small fee.
